The ingredients made teriyaki chicken stir fry so delicious. The salad with tomatoes was very fresh. Our waiter, Chris, was friendly, accommodating, and very friendly. He made our dining experience extra special. There are lots of comfortable booths.

Service was great. The waiters are very friendly. We got the chocolate pancakes, chicken fried steak and kids Mac and cheese meal. It all tasted amazing especially the pancakes with the extra chocolate chips and syrup!. The environment was cozy and we definitely will be coming back!.

This is one of those places in a town that everyone knows and goes. Brunch spot for so many groups and the regulars here know when to get in before/after the crowd hits. Food scores 90/100, where I think my least favorite thing was some type of soup of the day (it had ground beef in it and wasn't chili). Rest of the menu is legitimately great. Diner food needs to be hot, fast, and taste mostly like what you expect and this place has that. Service has always been quick even during busy times. The staff is aloof for new folks but if you're a regular, it's pretty great. Cherry on top is that this place has booths! Why is that so great? Because there's no encroachment of other tables or people since you can't move the furniture! It feels like your own little pod, party, section or whatever you want to call it. I've seen a lot of large groups come here so I think they can accommodate, but I would reserve first so they can get the tables ready.

Wow this food has great food and even better service. I dropped in for a basic bacon and eggs breakfast but there was nothing basic about it. Crispy bacon as I ordered, yummy hashed browns (cooked to perfection) plus toast and eggs. There was plenty of room and seats and had no wait at all. The servers checked on me multiple times and ensured my order was accurate and my iced tea was always full. As the the Terminator say, "I'll be back!"

Update review. I had this burger again before embarking on my trip to Japan so I can remember a great meal going forward. All I can say is HOLY MOO. This is hands down the best burger I've had in my life. It is now my Top 3. What changed recently were the new buns used. It's more of a brioche style; buttery, toasted enough to intact the bun from falling apart while maintaining the juiciness of the beef and I can tell from the crumb of the bun. High ass quality. Ive shared with my coworkers and they absolutely LOVE it. I'm def coming back. I feel that my feedback was heard. This is now a staple and now a meal looking forward that makes me feel at home. Great job!

I grew up coming to Holder's in Almaden and didn't realize it was a chain until later! It is nostalgic of my childhood breakfast and brunches and i love that not much had changed and the food tastes better than ever! I got the mushroom & avocado omelette and chose the pancakes (but u can also choose toast). I love that pancakes come as an included side whereas other breakfast places don't have this. The pancakes r pretty thick and fluffy and u get 2 comes with butter ball on top. I loved my omelette, so much mushroom and veggies!! Also that the hashbrown was not too burnt and cooked perfectly. My bf got the meat lovers and loved there was so much meat. He also loved the pancakes and almost made it the main focus. We both really enjoyed the food and service here is so quick and friendly as well! Def recommend.
